HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my blog readers!!!! Well so far 2014 has started with a very scrappy bang and I must say i am loving the new washi tape my sister got for me :)
I cut the Kaiser paper behind the photo using my Silhouette cameo, also used for the title and added strips of washi tape and added handwriting to the title for a funky effect and contrast to make it easy to ready against the washi tape strips :)

2013 Christmas LO and Card
I had alot of fun making this LO of my cousin ready for christmas, I had a heap of left over rubons lying around in one of my embellishment boxes so decided to make my own pattern paper to use up all these left over christmas rubons so that they didn't melt. I added in some sparkly star stickers for contrast and my christmas LO was completed
I also used the same technique to create a card using glitter star stickers that were in my embellishment stash :)

Thank you Card
Had so much fun making this from scraps, I find it a very effective technique to use paint to change the colour of things to suit my card or page, for this card i painted both the tag and the heart shape with Kaisercraft pistachio paint and then used two coats of tattered angels side walk chalk mint green to change the colour of the heart shape :) this is a great way to make scraps that normally would be used in other ways then i simply added some spotty washi tape :D
